Brand-Rex have modified and simplified their Partner Training and qualification process.

The Brand-Rex Partner course BTM-123 has been reduced from three days down to one which will now be titled Design Engineer BTM-003.  This is an intensive and in-depth one-day course that deals with all the design and test aspects of a Brand-Rex copper and optical fibre cabling system. It is aimed at engineers and project managers already familiar with structured cabling. This is a mandatory course for all Brand-Rex Partners and must be retaken every two years. This course is assessed and requires a pass rate of 60%. The course qualifies for BICSI CECs credits.

There is a new mandatory one-day course for all Brand-Rex Partners which concentrates on the practical aspects of Category 6 cable installation and testing. This new course is called Brand-Rex Copper Cable Technician, BTM-013.

Brand-Rex Partners wishing to offer the 25-year warranty for Brand-Rex fibre products must now do the two-day fibre practical course, Brand-Rex Fibre Cable Technician, BTM-004.
